Brooklyn is also a popular borough for purchasing real estate. Many celebrities looking to escape high volumes of press settle down in Brooklyn, where there are opportunities to purchase luxury condos and townhouses.

This article features two lists, the first including celebrities who still own their property, and the latter composing of properties celebrities used to own. Brooklynite star Norah Jones bought the Amity Street Townhouse back in 2009. She recently sold the property in 2020 for $7,500,000. Law & Order actor B.D. Wong purchased the Bedford-Stuyvesant home after his last purchase of a property in NoHo. Later that year, he transferred the property to Saturday Night Dinner LLC. It is unclear whether he still resides in the unit.

This pair of actors, who have been married for over twenty years, sold their home to the private entity Goodie Yags LLC in 2015 for $12,400,000. After coming on and off the market several times since then, the townhouse recently sold for $11,700,000.
