David Bruce "DB" as he is affectionately known to his clients started working at the age of 8 for a self made businessman - his Dad. Taught to always work hard and do what is right, he learned the auction and antiques business from the ground up. Working in the family business, he assisted in dealing with estates where the company was brought in to ascertain if there were any valuables in personal property, appraising for value, getting the property ready, and then marketing and bringing everything to the open market for sale. If you are like me when it comes to wanting what I want when I want it, you want it right there and there! Right? Particularly if you are pressed for time. I don't want leave a message! I don't want to go to your website. However, take a look at DB's Its easy to navigate and very informative, really!When I called DB, I talked to him about 5-10 minutes telling him about what I was interested in and a little about myself as well. Within an hour, I had my 1st email from DB with all that I asked for and more. After a couple of days of looking overall the information and listings that he sent, I called him back and changed my specs and again and again, several times, and in every incident, within 1 hour he sent to me a link w/ more than I expected...I was able to make an educated and informed decision about what I was interested in and where I wanted to look. Friendly, very hardworking and committed to his clients. He handled a an "unusual" sale. From the standpoint of no comparable properties in the area, very large lot, an un-permitted building and additions, and a much older property. Also unusual, is that the sale involved 3 individual Trustees for a Trust,1 being out of state. All 3 Trustees have very different personalities and varying priorities/hopes in terms of the long term/overall outcome of the sale and funds. David was able to work well with all 3 clients, and give advice based on the best possible outcome for all. He made sure that all parties were keep informed and up to date. David is a vigorous realtor with good instincts, strategies and very positive energy, no matter the obstacles that arose. No pressure, good follow up and communication, and very caring in all his interactions. He is a skilled negotiator, and knows all there is to know about complicated CA. real estate laws. He used DocuSign which allowed for e-signatutues of all offers, counter offers, etc...Making it easy for the complicated process to keep moving forward in a timely fashion. From listing through the close of Escrow, David went above and beyond in his role as realtor. Most important it was easy to trust David; truly remarkable, when it comes to real estate dealings. A good friend referred us to DB -- she had used him as her agent to buy a condo and raved about him. Within the first few minutes of talking to DB we knew that he was our guy. DB was immensely valuable to us during the home-buying process. He is very knowledgable about the market and extremely responsive to calls and emails. My wife and I are both lawyers so you can imagine the number and scope of questions we lodged at DB on an almost daily basis. We found our dream home and then found ourselves in a bidding war! With DB's help, we went under contract and he then expertly negotiated some further valuable concessions from the seller as part of the inspection process. One thing that is notable about DB is that while he is very friendly and personable to his clients, that doesn't mean he won't put a seller's agent in his or her place if necessary.
