Chester Court at the corner of 89th and Amsterdam on the Upper West Side was designed by Emery Roth for developer, Sam Minskoff and completed in 1925.  Intricate terra cotta motifs adorn the facade of the building, while the interior lobby ceiling displays elaborate and unique plasterwork with gold overlay.  

10D is a one bedroom apartment with entry foyer, eat-in, windowed kitchen, and one plus one-half baths.  Exposure is north and east with abundant light.  The apartment floors have been replaced with new hardwood oak parquet and strip flooring consistent with the period of the building.  All walls have been refinished and the apartment painted throughout.  Although baths and kitchen remain in working condition, they require updating.  Washer/dryers are permitted in the apartment.
