The elevator opens onto a private windowed landing, which leads to the thirty-five foot long gallery lined with full limestone-paneled walls, Stalattile limestone inlaid panels and marble flooring, and a decorative fireplace with an antique marble mantel.  This central gallery gives access to all public rooms and to the separate bedroom wing.   Three sets of  French-polished Mahogany and beveled-glass-paned double doors open into the living room, which features a wood burning fireplace with an antique mantel and five large windows overlooking Park Avenue.  On the opposite side of the gallery, another pair of walnut and glass double doors frame the entrance to the spacious dining room which has three large windows and wainscot paneling.   A special feature of the apartment is the spectacular walnut-paneled game room, off the living room and overlooking the Avenue, with a walnut-carved ceiling complete with a wood-burning antique fireplace.  The living room, dining room, and game room each has custom parquet floors constructed from antique oak planking.

The eat-in gourmet kitchen is fully paneled with limestone floors.  It is outfitted with the highest-end appliances, including La Cornue Chateau stove and oven, custom oven hood, Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer, Sub-Zero wine cooler with a 100 bottle capacity, Miele dishwasher, and an under-counter Dacor Microwave.  The delightful separate dining area within the kitchen features an eastern window that welcomes the morning sun, and also has a wood-burning fireplace.  The kitchen benefits from an additional two windows facing north.  Between the gallery and kitchen are coat closets, a marble-floored and wainscoted powder room, private service elevator access, and a large and cheerful home office or staff room with its own windowed en-suite bathroom.

The bedroom wing, completely separate from the entertaining rooms, is currently configured as three en-suite bedrooms, but could easily accommodate another bedroom.  The corner master bedroom faces south looking down Park Avenue and west looking into Park Avenue.  It features a decorative fireplace with an antique marble mantel.  The master bath is an immaculate work of art with book-matched marble paneling and flooring, a free-standing nickel bathtub, a walk-in shower, and a double vanity along with an embedded TV cabinet.  The master suite includes an adjoining room (which could be a fourth bedroom) which currently serves as a dressing room and home gym.  The other two bedrooms each have their own windowed marble bathrooms.  Off the hallway leading to the two other bedrooms is a closet containing a Miele full-size washer/dryer and utility sink as well as a large walk-in storage closet.  

The apartment's renovation by construction company, Residential Interiors Corporation, was completed in 2010.  No expense was spared throughout the renovation, with such details as P.E. custom all-brass substantial door and window hardware, antique 19th century English and French fireplace mantels, Lefroy Brooks plumbing fittings, French-polished Mahogany doors, decorative molding and crown molding in every room, custom decorative brass radiator grilles, heated floors and towel warmers in all bathrooms, heated floor in the kitchen, closed circuit security monitors for main and service entrances, security system, and wiring in every room for Wi-Fi and television.   Every window in the apartment is a new Marvin Clad double-hung window with sound-proofing.   As part of the apartment renovation, five air condensers were placed on the roof for the sole use of this apartment; the apartment has a perpetual lease with the building for the space occupied by the condensers.
