custom-made walk-in-closet was custom designed - lots of shelving,
long hanging, double hanging with drawers. Built in 2007, so an
interior sprinkler system within the unit. The Condo Building is
approved for FHA & VA loans. Enjoy a Fitness Center, Potomac Pub
with bar, televisions, pool tables, shuffle board, Business Center,
24-hour concierge with on-site management, courtyard with
waterfalls, pet friendly, a Rooftop Deck (Penn Lounge) with
kitchenette, two (2) observatories (lookouts) on the 5th floor
where one can sit and enjoy the views. The Metro is across the
street. Within a block of Mangialardo's - what a treat - an
old-school, family-owned, Italian shop since 1953 great traditional
hot & cold sandwiches, and only approximately 1/2 mile (maybe less)
Barracks Row & Eastern Market and the many wonderful restaurants,
bars & open market. And just a little further is Nationals Park -
with other fun and great restaurants on the water front in Navy
Yard, along with Whole Foods. In between you can find Trader Joes
(.7 mi). Some of the Owner's faves: Eastern Market (including the
Farmer~s Market), Trader Joesswimming at the Rec Center in Eastern
Market (said it is free to local residents), run/bike/play flag
football on the river, right by the bridge, also Mangialardo's, La
Lomita Restaurant, Fanatix Nails & Spa (right across the street),
and that the unit is on the Pennsylvania Ave side, so that it was
so much easier to directly go to the metro, or Capital Bike Share.
