Originally from Oak Park, Steve attended Colorado State University and graduated from Loyola University Chicago, with a BA in Political Science. He went on to work at Northern Trust and at the Chicago Board of Trade as an independent market maker. When he and his wife, Debra, became expectant parents some 17 years ago, Steve knew he wanted to be successful both in his career and at home with his family. �EURoeI wanted something less risky and less stressful,�EUR� he says. �EURoeWe�EUR(TM)d just bought a home for our growing family, and the experience piqued my interest. So, I decided to get my license and make the move.�EUR� He and his family continue to live in the home they bought, a multi-unit building that reflects his belief that owning real estate should be part of a diversified portfolio. �EURoeWe are in Edgewater, and I love living so close to Lake Michigan, truly the jewel of Chicago,�EUR� he says. Focusing today on helping his own clients the way his agent did during his first home buy, Steve splits his time between working in and around the city he loves and, of course, being with his family. He stays fit as a hiker, biker and skier so that he is always ready for whatever challenges his clients need him to take on. Among his favorite activities are caddying for his daughter, Annika, a competitive golfer, and running on the beach most early mornings with his dog, Sweetness.
