In 2016, Linda lived for 6 weeks in the foothills of the Himalayas in the Jammu/Kashmir area of India as part of a medical team that opened a hospital built by HH the Dalai Lama. The team saw 1700 patients, living in a very remote valley, many of whom had never seen a doctor or a dentist. She was in charge of managing the patient flow and handled the many breakdowns a new facility goes through.
