Anita Terrace is a beautiful three building co-op located at 99-40 to 99-60 63rd Drive, right in the heart of Rego Park. Built in 1952 each building has 15 floors and holds around 180 luxury units. In total, the development has 545 units, each grand and luxurious in their own right.

There are several amenities that are shared between the community that lives here. For example, those with a car can park it in an onsite garage, though the E, M, and R trains are nearby if you prefer public transit . Additionally, there’s a fitness center, laundry facilities, and elevators. Pets are allowed in these units, but subletting is not.

Units in Anita Terrace range from studios to three bedrooms, and each one has updated and modern amenities. Studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments have at least one full bath, whereas three bedroom units have two.

All units, regardless of size, come with a refrigerator, heating units, hardwood floors, and dishwashers, all within a spacious, open environment that mirrors the neighborhood it’s in. Giving you plenty of room to stretch.

In the early 2000’s, Anita Terrace almost shutdown and would’ve made at least 300 homeowners lose everything. Developers were attempting to buy Anita Terrace and transform it from a coop into a rental complex, meaning residents could technically still live there, but they would no longer own their property. The community, and NY senator Toby Stavisky, joined together to stop the sale and residents have been able to own their apartment in peace ever since.
