The transformation of this loft sets a new benchmark for design and function. The architectural team commissioned to transform this prewar loft began with a modern vision for the kitchen. The choice would be the German engineered Bulthaup/ B3 system with appliances that are top of the line Gaggenau which include a five-burner cooktop, 36 inch built-in oven, energy efficient dish washer, built-in wine cooler, recessed coffee machine, warming and storage trays. The kitchen seamlessly blends contrasting materials like glass, walnut, anodized natural aluminum and stone. The interior of the cabinets and draws are accessorized to create organization and beautifully displays contents from cutlery to cookware. There is also a fully integrated and panelized Subzero refrigerator/ freezer and a Miele washer and dryer.  The clean lines of this loft are emphasized by the many pre war characteristics like ceilings that soar to 11 feet and 7 foot windows through which beautiful eastern light is distributed. The second bedroom/ home office is separate and detached from the master-suite and great room.
