Escape to true wilderness on this exceptional 30.99-acre off-grid hunting and recreation property, surrounded by tens of thousands of acres of public land, including National Forest, BLM, and State Trust Land. Located in Colorado Hunting Unit 57, this secluded mountain property offers outstanding opportunities for big game hunting and wildlife viewing, with deer, elk, bear, mountain lion, and turkey frequently found throughout the area. Perched high above the surrounding landscape, the property boasts breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the Sawatch and Sangre de Cristo Mountain ranges. The combination of privacy, expansive vistas, and direct access to vast public lands creates an unparalleled backcountry experience. Access is via an unmaintained two-track trail that winds approximately four miles from the Forest Service gate through stunning alpine terrain. Due to the rugged nature of the route, access is best suited for hiking or by horseback. Appropriate permits will be required by the governing agencies for motorized access. The terrain and trail conditions do not allow for trailer access, and seasonal weather conditions further limit accessibility. This is not a property for those seeking convenience, it is a property for those seeking adventure, solitude, and a genuine connection to the outdoors. If you've been searching for a remote mountain getaway, hunting basecamp, or private retreat surrounded by some of Colorado's most spectacular public lands, this rare offering deserves your attention.
