Originally built in 1925, this historic art-deco building was once used as a clubhouse for the Knights of Columbus. Recently renovated by Form4 Studio in 2020, this luxury condo is right next to Prospect Park, providing breathtaking views to the residents of this historic, yet modern building.

At 10 stories and 55 units, 1 Prospect Park West has many amenities for its wonderful residents. Right as you walk into the lobby, a library and children’s playroom is available. The lobby has public spaces with chess boards, as well as areas where residents can work. There’s a stunning rooftop terrace that overlooks prospect park and a fitness center for residents to enjoy. Apartments here are huge, and your furry friends are more than welcome to roam them.

Units in 1 Prospect Park West are enormous, with most units having at least two bedrooms. There’s at least one bathroom per bedroom. Many bathrooms have a freestanding tub, and every bathroom has marble tile. Powder rooms feature that 1920’s charm with minimalist, yet elegant design.

1 Prospect Park West was built in 1925 as a clubhouse for the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic Fraternal Organization that provides charitable support to communities in need.  It was also used as an event space for Brooklynites as a whole. There were many amenities in the building back then, including a pool and a movie theater, both of which were rare to have in Brooklyn at the time. The current building is a call back to that era, with custom appliances and designs that invoke the roaring twenties designed by Workstead.
