About William Gillen

A born-and-bred New Yorker, Bill is a seasoned sales executive, who approaches his work with dedication, discretion and integrity. Prior to joining Douglas Elliman, Bill enjoyed a highly successful sales career spanning more than 30 years in global technology and banking, including senior positions at IBM, Citi, BNY Mellon and Schroders (Wertheim).Bill has owned co-op apartments in Brooklyn, the Upper West Side and Carnegie Hill. He possesses expert knowledge of the co-op process and served as the Board President of a prestigious landmark building in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. Along with his wife, and son they are avid dog lovers and have an adorable PBGV.Bill and his family are also the proud owners of a charming pied--terre in the sixth arrondisement in Paris. He graduated from the Securities Industry Institute at The Wharton School and received his BS in Economics from Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA.
