About Wilford Nelson

As one of three boys, he was known as the artist in the family. Besides being the creative one, he was the oldest and that came with responsibility. Talented throughout high school, he was accepted to The Cooper Union for the advancement of Science and Art, on full scholarship. After graduating from The Cooper Union, Wilford worked at KCSA, a marketing and PR firm, for two years before opening his own design studio. A small boutique firm, he managed four full-time employees and served as the Art Director/Head of Creative. He handled the day to day operations and served clients such as Warner Bros., MCA Records, The National Urban League, John Wiley and Son, and many more. Along with the ability to manage a team, his leadership qualities and passion for helping people are relentless. He has the ability to evaluate and weigh the pros and cons of any situatio
