About Vannie Nicholson

While not born but bred here, Vannie has been a continuous resident in the metro Atlanta area for over 35 years and these are her stomping grounds! After her family relocated from Kansas, she was raised in Cobb County then moved to Atlanta while attending college at Georgia State University. Upon graduation with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Business, she and her husband purchased a home in Cherokee County where they lived for 15 years before moving back to Cobb County in 2018. With first hand, in-depth knowledge of the metro Atlanta housing market and a network of friends and family scattered throughout, she can give you the DL on in-town neighborhoods, the surrounding suburbs, and everywhere in between! She has a long history of customer service, working as a server/bartender throughout high school and college. Those interpersonal skills would later become hugely beneficial in her career as a senior account manager in the tradeshow marketing industry. Combine the client servicing, acquired in the service industry with the unique marketing techniques, sales expertise, planning, and negotiation skills obtained in the tradeshow industry, she embarked on her entrepreneurial dream of a real estate career in 2015 and has been assisting buyers, sellers, investors, and business owners with their residential and commercial real estate needs since! In her spare time, she can be found in the great outdoors hiking with her husband & their dogs, mountain biking, kayaking, or her latest pursuit, bird watching. If they're not in the great outdoors, you'll find them on the hunt for real estate for their future investment portfolio, puttering around in their backyard gardening or cooking up a storm in the kitchen. On a lucky day, she'll either get to bake bread or even better, getting to break bread with "framily" in and around the metro Atlanta!! Aside from just enjoying being an Atl-ien with the aforementioned hobbies, she also has a great love for dogs, crafting, repurposing, thrifting, photography, culture, and travel, and ALWAYS on the hunt for good authentic grub, cause, who doesn't love good grub??
