Susan is an experienced real estate professional and banker by training who prides herself on her keen attention to the needs of her clients. She is a seasoned negotiator and an outside-the-box thinker who has achieved record prices for her sellers and has structured creative deals for her buyers. Prior to becoming an agent, Susan explored several different areas of banking, while discovering her passion for real estate. She spent many years lending money to notable real estate developers in New York City, financing the acquisition and development of residential, commercial, and hotel properties. As a testament to her strong analytical skills, hard work, and high level of customer service, Susan rose to the level of Senior Vice President and team leader. She received an MBA in Finance (fully funded by her employer) while working full-time. Susan has always taken an active interest in education. She is the Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the NVLD Project, a non-profit supporting awareness of and research into non-verbal learning disability. Susan has served as Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the Stephen Gaynor School, on the Parents Board of Trustees of Bucknell University, and was a founding member of the Steering Committee of the Parents Board of Syracuse University. A native New Yorker who was happily raised on Park Avenue, Susan chose to bring up her two daughters on the Upper East Side, where she resides today with her husband, David, and their two dogs. When she is not selling real estate, Susan loves playing tennis, going to museums, making jewelry, and spending time in her homes in the Hamptons and Palm Beach.
