About Sumner Crosby

Upon graduating high school in his hometown of Charlottesville, VA, Sumner moved to Maine to study at Bates College. In addition, he studied abroad at the University of Nanjing in China and holds teaching certification from the University of Cambridge. Sumner lived and taught in Japan and France for 2 years before returning to the States to work in healthcare sales where he built a $3.4 million portfolio of new business. Throughout Sumner's broad experience in multiple industries across the globe, from teaching to for-profit sales, to non-profit account management, customer service has always been his prime focus and motivator. His strong desire to help people and build business through new relationships has been the cornerstone of Sumner's professional success and the defining characteristic that allowed him a seamless transition into a real estate agent. Following up on his desire to enter the real estate industry, Sumner managed a private association of commercial brokers where he succeeded in growing the membership base by over 10%. In his downtime, Sumner enjoys putting together his latest culinary experiments, seeking out new sights in the city, speaking French to whoever will listen, volunteering, and playing competitive soccer.
