He is ranked by The Wall Street Journal as one of the top brokers nationally and in New York. At his previous firm, he was a long time member of The Corcoran Group's Multi-million Dollar Club, Presidents' Council as one of their top producers, and was honored by Corcoran in 2016 for Broker of the Year and in 2015 for Deal of the Year. The Steven Cohen Team has recently joined the largest brokerage in the New York Metropolitan area: Douglas Elliman Realty.
Steven is a well-versed agent in both luxury resales and new developments. Some of his previous new development experience include representing Simon Baron Development's 12 East 88th Street, Shore Asset's 318 West 47th Street, and Extell Development's 21 East 61st Street, Carlton House.
He has a reputation as an accomplished and seasoned broker who is able to anticipate his clients' needs, effectively evaluate the marketplace and subsequently, exceed his clients' expectations. As a result, Steven enjoys a loyal clientele of repeat customers domestically and internationally, a strong referral base, and valuable contacts throughout the city.
Steven's clients appreciate his integrity, emotional intelligence, focus on service and communication skills. In addition, he has extensive knowledge of the distinct neighborhoods that comprise Manhattan and the surrounding market.
Originally from Philadelphia, Steven attended Penn State University where he was an active member of Beta Sigma Beta Fraternity as well as the Collegian College Newspaper. During the 90's Steven lived overseas for seven years in Israel, South Africa, and Australia where he was involved in the development of an international nonprofit. His deep involvement from his communities and travel have fostered long standing relationships throughout the world.
Steven shares his homes on the Upper West Side and East Hampton with his partner and daughters. They live a full, active life and love to travel and spend time with family and friends. He is active in a number of charities and is currently a member of the Board of the Marlene Meyerson JCC of Manhattan, Founding Member of South Africa's Tomorrow Trust, and serves on the board of Penn State Hillel.
