About Shirley Harnick

Shirley Harnick Douglas Elliman Shirley has lived real estate her whole life, which is why she ultimately came full circle from a career in customer service to become a real estate professional. She prides herself in bringing this commitment of service to her buyers and sellers. Today, Shirley brings her love of real estate, which is rooted in growing up in a family of real estate developers, to her clients and customers. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise with them during the important, often challenging undertaking of finding or selling a home. Often described by her customers as genuine, reassuring and approachable, Shirley is always calming, always listening and always there to guide you through the experience. Born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, she earned her BA and MA at Queens College. Prior to joining Douglas Elliman, she was an Assistant Property Manager for two condominium complexes of 500 units located in New Jersey. Finding or selling a property with Shirley includes forging a strong relationship with her that may last over time. When she is not exploring neighborhoods to find new and interesting tidbits, she is experiencing many of the endless activities that New York City has to offer. She actively supports the Museum of Jewish Heritage and is always glad to volunteer at the March of Dimes.
