About Shari Matluck

Shari sees herself somewhat as a "matchmaker of people and homes." She listens intently, genuinely cares about each client and transaction, and works extremely hard to expedite the process to ensure that all parties are satisfied. Shari is known for goingabove and beyond the call of duty to provide outstanding client service, which is why her career as an agent has been built solely on referrals. "Buying, selling and renting real estate can be such an emotional and intimate process. When you're in someone's home or helping them find their dream residence, being able to build a connection and maintain professionalism at the same time is extremely important," she says. "I also make sure my clients are well prepared before the search or sale starts. Helping them feel educated, empowered and confident leads to making smart and efficient decisions!" Born in Bogota, Colombia and raised in Miami in a real estate family, Shari is licensed in both Florida and New York City. She came into the business with a long history in sales and customer service, where she continually perfected her interpersonal and negotiating skills. After graduating from the University of Miami with a degree in Business Management, Shari dabbled in real estate and sales in Miami until moving to New York and getting licensed in 2011. Shari has lived in the vibrant Village ever since. She loves strolling through the neighborhood with her dog, Chip, and taking him to the river to enjoy the views. Shari also enjoys hosting dinner parties and keeping active with yoga, boxing and regular Soul-Cycle classes. She likes to give back to the community as well. Shari is currently active with New York Cares, Visions, The Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation, and the National Parkinson's Foundation.
