About Shane Hanes

Shane Hanes was born and raised in the Amarillo/Canyon area. An alumni of West Texas A&M, Amarillo College, and Canyon High School show his devotion to learning and his love for this community. He has always shown a great interest in learning and growing his mind to better serve others and the community. Growing up on a farm taught him a lot of lessons that cross over into his current position as Broker/Owner of Realty One Group Oculus. While attending college for his bachelors degree in business management, he partnered in a real estate investment business. In this business he did everything from tiling floors, roofing, and painting to managing rentals, flip houses and hiring contractors. His experience is extensive on everything to do with housing. He was in roles that taught him leadership, management, financing, and other important business skills. He took advantage of the many lessons learned from the role models in his life. Throughout his experiences, he has always pride himself in being honest, trustworthy, and hardworking in everything he does. These traits have helped him get to the position he is in today and continue to help him grow and develop his knowledge of real estate business everyday. Shane is an active participant in his community and Association of Realtors. He enjoys contributing to charities and interacting with other people during community events. His goal as a broker/owner is to provide the best possible service to Realtors and all of their clients. With his years of experience as an active agent he brings immense value to the table in offering agents everything they need to build their careers and better serve their clients. He is proud to be apart of Realty One Group Oculus and looks forward to many great years with the company
