Scott Moore is the Founder and Team Leader of the Scott Moore Group with Douglas Elliman. Scott has been a licensed Real Estate Broker since August 2002. The Scott Moore Group represents both single family, multi-family and commercial clients in the acquisition and sale of their properties throughout the world. Scotts unique licenses and skill sets afford him the opportunity to act as his clients quarterback overseeing all aspects of each transaction in order to achieve their goals and objectives. Scott enjoys collaborating with other business professionals and adding value to their team.From 1991 to 1995 Scott attended UC Santa Barbara, where he majored in Law Society, with a minor in Japanese. He continued onto McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento from 1996-1999, where he competed nationally on the mock trial team, wrote for the schools law journal, and established the Entertainment Law Society. After passing the California State Bar Exam in 1999, Scott represented individual motion picture producers, directors, writers, actors and composers handling various matters from development, contract negotiations, distribution and litigation. Later, he went to work with Barab, Abrams and Coate, LLP, an entertainment law firm based in Beverly Hills. During his tenure he worked for a multitude of production clients on over fifteen feature films. Additionally, he was in charge of preparing and litigating arbitration grievances filed by the Screen Actors Guild, Writers Guild and Directors Guild. In early 2002 Scott became the sole outside counsel to a major motion picture distribution company, where he was responsible for the negotiation and drafting of several distribution deals for films. He also handled this company's litigation matters. Later in 2002, Scott established his own professional corporation, focusing primarily on production legal work with independent producers, actors, writers, directors and composers. This experience has prepared and trained him to excel as a hands-on producer. From September 2003 to June 2009 Scott joined forces with his father and brother to form Financial Specialists, Inc., a full-service business and wealth management firm whereby Scott was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company as well as running the legal and real estate divisions. From June 2009 to December 2019 Scott acted as the President of BBS Development, Inc. and So Cal Custom Construction Design, Inc., a full-service, high-end residential development and construction company which locate added-value opportunities throughout specific pockets within the Los Angeles area. Scott's core concept of Buy Build Sell emphasizes both fellow agents and clients the opportunity to locate, invest, develop and sell a targeted single-family home maximizing its profit potential to all parties involved. Over the past eleven years, Scott has subdivided, added, remodeled and built new construction from Beverly Hills, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Los Feliz, Venice and Lynn Ranch.
