About Reena Khera

Reena became licensed salesperson in real estate in 1985 and subsequently over 36 years in the real estate industry, She honed her skills and acquired valuable knowledge and designations. After becoming an Associate Broker in 1992, she was a recipient of numerous awards-in 1999 was named the #2 Top Agent in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens! In 2010 Reena won the Referral Leader award! in 2012 she won a leading edge award at Douglas Elliman. From 2015 through 2020 she won awards every year.Being fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and having a strong working knowledge of Spanish and French, this has enabled her to work capably with an international pool of customers that are attracted to Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Reena's primary goal, as a "hands on" professional, is to offer top level service to both buyers and sellers. Through her professional career, the greatest compliments she receives are referrals from past and present satisfied clients. Reena is always focusing on negotiations while maintaining a strong work ethic and has a compassionate nature. Reena has leveraged both her personal and business relationships to create a broad based network of professionals, community leaders and residents through out Long Island. Reena was born in Bombay, India and came to the United States when she was 11. She attended junior high and high school in Connellsville, PA. After earning a BA degree in Sociology from Penn State University she moved to New York City in 1979. Reena and her husband bought their first home in East Meadow in 1980, and eventually put down their roots in Muttontown in 1988 where they raised two kids who attended much acclaimed Jericho School District. When the kids went to New York University, Cornell and UNC at Chapel Hill, Reena and her husband and her Mom downsized to a condo in Syosset, NY. After 5 Years, they moved into beautiful new development called Country Pointe at Plainview.
