About Rachel Richards

Rachel Richards

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson at Halstead Property, LLC [email protected]
Despite her suburban roots, Rachel Richards, or Red as friends affectionately call her, has long been entranced by the energy of city living. A performer from a young age, she would imagine her adult life like a scene from the movie Fame, singing and dancing amongst the yellow New York City taxi cabs. Anyone who knows Rachel today would tell you that she often does exactly that. In 2010, Rachel found her way to New York, and a mere four years later, she bought and renovated a home in Harlem. This was where her love and interest for real estate was sparked. When working with Rachel, you should expect real listening, great energy, levity, top-notch service, and support. She has learned that where and how we choose to live is a huge part of our individual stories, and relishes the opportunity to support others in the writing of their stories. She proudly leads her co-op board, and she has learned a lot from undertaking that responsibility. Most of all, she has learned that the rewards of home ownership outweigh any complexity that the process might present. Rachel is a creative and a natural storyteller in every area of her life, whether its in acting, singing, writing, styling, or real estate. She is a key team member of the Keller Team and has been of tremendous support to her teammates and its client base. She is an instrumental contributor to the groups fun, hardworking ethic as well as its passion for results and shared core values. Rachel grew up in the Atlanta suburbs, and like two generations of her family before her, she attended the University of Georgia, where she obtained an A.B. in theatre and film studies. While she is not a regular sports fan, she loves UGA football. During college, Rachel spent a semester abroad in London, solidifying her love of big city energy and life. Upon graduation, she lived in midtown Atlanta and traveled the country touring with a variety of musical theatre productions. The history, beauty, and old-school charm of New York City inspire Rachel. She adores all things vintage and enjoys working with and cultivating friendships with elder New Yorkers. In fact, when she is not working, Rachel spends hours each week working closely with seniors to provide help and companionship. Working as an elder companion is yet another of Rachels passionate pursuits. Halstead Manhattan, LLC
