About Peter Rieke

I have lived in Charlotte since 1961. After three and a half years at Duke Energy, I started my own real estate investment firm in 1985 which was involved in the home building and remodeling business as well as office condominium development.During three real estate downturns, I successfully launched a food export company and managed three finance companies. My experience in real estate and finance gives me a unique advantage in serving my clients. I am currently focused on office and investment properties in the Greater Charlotte market.I am actively involved in the Charlotte community, having served on the board of directors of Samaritan�s Feet for five years. I have also served as Administrative Director of Kiwanis Aktion of the Carolinas for six years, working with disabled adults.I attended Wake Forest University and NC State University, receiving degrees in Math and Computer Science. I enjoy playing classical violin with the Ash Grove String Quartet and bluegrass fiddle with the Quail Hollow Band.
