About Paul D. Zweben

Paul Zweben is widely known for his humor, no-nonsense negotiating skills, and his mastery of marketing through social media. Paul and Carolyn, his partner in business and life, have grown the Zweben Team into an award-winning team, recognized for their successes in a challenging and constantly shifting market, and for the leadership roles they have played at Douglas Elliman. Pauls creative and forward-thinking marketing strategies is the reason he is regularly invited to speak to agents around the nation on how to grow their business. He was thrilled to be able to speak at a roundtable of successful chefs at the Inman Connect conference showing how business and marketing strategies are valuable and transferable across disciplines. Buyers and sellers know that they are in good hands when they work with Paul. Clients are his top priority. He is always focused, extremely responsive, and genuinely invested in each clients experience. He oversees every aspect of the transaction ensuring that any bumps in the road are immediately dealt with in order to successfully bring the deal to a close for his client. It is rare to find someone as committed to his career as Paul is to real estate. Simply put, Paul loves what he does. Prior to entering the real estate market, Paul worked in the restaurant business for 28 years. He began at age 14 working in a bakery and, after attending college and culinary school, worked his way up to becoming a chef at notable restaurants like The River Cafe in Brooklyn Heights. In the mid-90s Paul formed a restaurant partnership, owning and operating 4 upscale restaurants in NYC and one in Washington DC. Today, Paul remains a partner at BLT Prime in Gramercy and Calle Ocho on the Upper West Side as well as BLT Steak in Washington DC. When hes not selling real estate, Paul can be found sharing his love of food and real estate on his blog, Hungry Domaine (www.hungrydomaine.com). Paul writes extensively on two of his favorite topics, food and real estate. The rest of his time is spent with his true love, Carolyn and their beautiful children, Olivia and Parker.
