Michael Chira joins Compass as a 3rd generation Brooklynite. He perpetuates the legacy of his paternal grandfather, who owned and managed several properties throughout New York, and that of his maternal grandfather, who developed shopping centers and homes in Monmouth County, New Jersey. He has long nourished his deep roots in the field of real estate, learning much about the business while observing the signage of numerous commercial tenants in the families Union Square property under Samson Associates. His career as an agent began at a boutique firm and tech startup in Brooklyn, where he specialized in rentals throughout the borough. Over the course of his years as an agent, Michael has witnessed and dynamically responded to the growth and development which has made Brooklyn an increasingly desirable area for residents and businesses alike. Michael brings with him passion and deep knowledge drawn from a wide range of personal experience. Apart from his real estate ventures, he spent five years spearheading the brand-development and promotion of GASHI, a recording artist who is now currently signed to Jay-Z roc-nation management and RCA Records. In 2014, his passion for exercise and health management led him to co-found Concrete Fitness, an upscale boutique training studio located in Brooklyn, specializing in group fitness. Michael specializes in seller, buyer, landlord & developer representation. Michael currently resides in Midwood, Brooklyn with his wife, young daughter & son.
