About Michael Castleman

I am a Broker\Realtor with RE/MAX Professionals in Springfield and I love working hard for my clients and making dreams come true. Whether buying or selling property I will do it well. I have been involved in real estate since my teens working with my father on his rentals, repairing vacated properties and getting them ready to be re-rented. My main vocation for the biggest part of my life was the 30 years that I worked for the State of Illinois at various agencies, Secretary of State, Public Aid, Agriculture and finishing my I.T career at CMS. I also owned and operated a Subway affiliated franchise in my early twenties but decided after a few years that this was not what I wanted to do with my spare time. So Fixing up properties to rent out or sell became my main occupier of time for about the next 4 years. I am a long time member of West Side Christian Church, The FitClub, The Springfield Ski Club, The Springfield Bicycle Club, The Springfield Lake Association which I served as President and The Springfield Social Club. I also volunteer for many organizations including the Illinois Symphony, The Hoogland and The Muni. I am a graduate of Auburn High School, Lincoln land Community college, and attended University of Illinois at Springfield.
