Lisa Marin Rowland, known as "Marin" by friends and colleagues, became involved in the Real Estate business in 1997 when working for a mortgage brokerage, but within a year she concentrated mainly on the real estate side and earned her Real Estate Broker's license in addition to her Mortgage Broker's license. Marin holds the designations of Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) and handles many short sales and foreclosures in addition to traditional sales and rentals, from $50, 000 condos to multi-million dollar homes, and treats all with the same attention to detail. Being a landlord herself, she also offers maintenance & management support to her out-of-state investor-clients. Marin is originally from Long Island, New York, and attended SUNY Stony Brook before transferring to South Florida in the early '90s to finish earning her Bachelors degree from Florida Atlantic University. Her knowledge of the area allows her to offer clients suggestions on many details including neighborhoods, schools, restaurants and entertainment. She is very broad in her knowledge of South Florida and markets properties from Hollywood to Coral Springs to North Palm Beach, and all cities in between (including Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Parkland, Deerfield Beach and Lighthouse Point). She loves selling real estate and working with people. In fact, Marin was chosen to work with HGTV and their 2011 series "My First Sale" and enjoyed capturing the sales process on camera that showed the intricacies and patience of working with first-time sellers. In her spare time, Marin also enjoys boating, scuba-diving, traveling, snow skiing, reading and spending time with family and friends.
