Working with Marilyn on both sides of our transaction was handled with professionalism, tact and negotiating prowess. Not only did Marilyn get us three offers on the home we were selling, ultimately obtaining our full asking price in a market that was trending down. She brought only highly qualified potential buyers and kept us in the loop the entire time. The neighborhood we bought in was not familiar to us, so Marilyn went out of her way to acquaint us with the area and all it had to offer. Can't say enough good things about Marilyn. Just bought my first home and she was so patient with me as I had a gazillion questions especially around financing. She explained the escrow process, how to shop rates, and interest rate buy-downs which we ended up doing. Marilyn gave me tours of several properties and she helped me spot some issues in a few properties we toured. I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking for and it was so nice to have someone who does looking out for me. We found a great place for me after 3 weeks and Marilyn structured my offer to have the seller include a 3 point interest buy down which saves me a TON of money each month. She got me that AND a large price reduction AND some money back on repairs. I almost felt bad how hard Marilyn negotiated on my behalf. That and she intro'd me to a lender, a contractor, and insurance. Marilyn was so kind and patient with me but best of all she is extremely competent and that saved me a lot of money.

As housing is being snapped up in San Diego I would never have time to begin the entire process from Casper, Wyoming. She offered to tour the property via video, and she provided all details necessary (including a hand-sketch of the property). I am a first-time home buyer.
