About Liz Scruggs

For the past 24 years, Liz has worked with builders, developers, and real estate professionals as a landscape designer. She owns and operates Liz Scruggs Landscape Design and has helped her clients to create gardens that make a house feel like home. She served as Chairman of the Serenbe Landscape Design Review Board for the last seven years where she educated builders, contractors, and homeowners on the principles of sustainable landscaping and water management. Liz grew up in a military family and has lived in many U.S. states and Europe. She is dedicated to helping veterans return to their lives and families after their time in the military. She's had the opportunity to support Operation Finally Home by managing landscape installation and exterior donations of time and materials. This foundation's goal is to build homes for wounded soldiers returning from military conflict. Liz enjoys spending time with her husband, four kids, and three dogs. She loves watching college football and going to equestrian fox hunts with her daughter!
