For Lisa Gaytan, home is more than just an idea; it is the place to nurture, grow and realize dreams. Lisa moved often as a child, landing in New York City in 1986 and quickly realized she wanted to establish roots and build a life in this big, beautiful, vibrant city. Lisas passion for real estate got ignited along the way, first buying and selling a SoHo loft, then buying and renovating a Brooklyn brownstone. Now, Lisa extends that same passion to you as a buyer, seller or renter, helping you to realize your own dreams through her dedication, diligence and care. Lisa comes to real estate from a successful career in Telecommunications Sales and Service. It was in the competitive corporate world that Lisa honed her skills in negotiating and problem solving. She also learned that the key to success is active listening, attention to detail and a keen focus on ensuring positive outcomes for her customers and clients.As a co-op owner, Lisa served as the co-ops Board President for five years. Upon moving to Brooklyn, Lisa gained extensive experience in managing the restoration of a landmark townhouse and has cultivated deep relationships with contractors, architects and trades people along the way. Lisa is an active member of the Prospect Park Alliance, FIDO (Fellowship in Dog Ownership), Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and BAM. She is an avid knitter and yarn maker, involved in the fiber arts and loves giving her creations to friends and family. Lisas favorite activity is attending concerts and live performances, especially the Celebrate Brooklyn concerts at the Prospect Park bandshell.
