I transferred to Bakersfield 24 years ago relocating for work. I had two young children at the time and found the move to be a great choice. Bakersfield had the friendly small town feel and housing was so much more affordable. Today that is still true. Raising a family and now having grandchildren, I understand the struggles of young families and what it takes to have a home of your own in a great area with great schools. I have personally bought, sold and flipped, quite a few homes of my own. Knowing that scary feeling of the first time buyer and seller, as well as the investor looking to flip a property, or relocating to a whole new environment, is all very real to me.
