About Kirsten Rowan

Whether securing their next home or preparing a property for market, Kirsten devotes herself to the needs of her clients, serving as a strong advocate and dedicated sales expert. From new condos on Capitol Hill to historic homes in Chevy Chase, she has a record of successful transactions and clients who praise her thoughtful approach, market knowledgeand attention to detail throughout the home preparation,search and sales process. As a lifelong resident of the DC metroarea, licensed in DC, Maryland and Virginia, Kirsten has a distinct knowledge of the District and surrounding neighborhoods. Based out of Compasss Chevy Chase office, she serves clients throughout the DC metro region. Prior to her career in real estate, Kirsten worked as director of marketing for The Atlantic magazine and as a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, among other roles. She holds a master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and a BA from the University of Mary Washington. Kirsten lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland with her husband and two daughters. She is an active participant in her daughters' school community, including holding a leadership role in the school's parent association. Having grown up racing sailboats on the Chesapeake Bay, Kirsten counts outdoor activities among her favorite personal pursuits. Although her work in real estate dominates her weekend time, she still loves to get out on the water whenever possible.
