When she is not working, you can find her hiking, paddle boarding, snowshoeing and otherwise exploring the Truckee Meadows with her boyfriend, Erik, and their dog, Camp. Katie also devotes much of her time to volunteering for local organizations like Soroptimist International of Truckee Meadows, Junior Achievement and Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada.
