In 2004 my husband and I bought a vacation home in Morehead City to be near water and golf. After our fourth trip, we knew this area could be our future permanent home. In 2012, our youngest son picked a college in Washington DC, which was the halfway point between Connecticut ( our then current home) and North Carolina. So we said to ourselves...."lets just commute from the South!" So we sold our CT home, packed up everything, dropped off our son in DC and kept on driving. Best decision. Realtor since 2013
