About JULIA RUSSO

An experienced Realtor, Julia is active in the community. She put together an opportunity and transacted for The City of Brookhaven a gorgeous Park! She is a past educator and loves the vibe of Ashford Park Elementary and is also a founding board member and past Vice President of The Cross Keys Foundation. This organization has placed over nine little libraries throughout Brookhaven and Doraville. She was a Founding Fifty member of the BCC which is now the Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce. She was a past director of the Chamblee Business Association which is now The Chamblee Chamber of Commerce. She also co-founded the Brookhaven Heights Community Association before the Atlanta Olympics, which today is a community organization for an extremely desirable neighborhood of over 400 homes. She was a founding member of Prudential Buckhead. She was also a past director of the Rotary of Brookhaven. After an unsuccessful bid for a Brookhaven council seat in 2012, she remains very involved and ever committed to Atlanta. Around 1995, Julia became a licensed Georgia Realtor and brought her negotiating skills earned from many years in the telecommunications industry, corporate work, lobbying arena, California trade association executive work and government staff leadership to the field of real estate. Armed with an MBA, she fought hard for clients while working towards a win-win strategy for all involved parties--and hence to many successful closings. She has been with Keller Williams about fourteen years and is a past multi-year ALC member, BOLD Graduate and Million Dollar Club Member. A real estate investor since 1980, she continues her love of real estate. Julia was born and raised in Miami. She has lived in the San Francisco and New Orleans area and has made her home here in Atlanta and the north Georgia mountains for over twenty years. She lives with her husband, a scrappy little dog named Chloe and her sixteen year old cat.
