About Janette James

With almost 20 years as a successful real estate agent in New York City, Janette worked for Douglas Elliman, Halstead and Corcoran-Sunshine luxury new development before moving to Modern Spaces. She begun her career with Douglas Elliman as a pioneer of Wall Street and Battery Park City when few people wanted to venture there. In 2006 Janette began working in another emerging neighborhood, Long Island City, helping to successful sell out the Arris Lofts, one of the first new developments in LIC. She has since sold out The View and now The Jackson. In-between these developments she also helped to sell out the prestigious 166 Perry Street in the West Village and The Laurel on the Upper Eastside. Renown for her work ethic and responsibility, Janette treats every client with honesty and integrity. Through this she has gained a loyal following and is still friends with many of her past clients including her very first sales customer. Janette also believes in giving back. She has run a marathon to raise money for the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society and 5K runs for breast cancer as well as contributing to many childrens charities. A special favorite is March of Dimes as Janettes second daughter was born preterm.
