About HOPE WILLIAMS

Hello, My name is Hope Williams. I am a lifelong resident of Southern Illinois, and I am thrilled to come out of retirement be a part of the RE/MAX team. For more than thirty years I worked for the United States Department of Agriculture, starting my career as a County Office Clerk with the Farmers Home Administration where I assisted in helping individuals acquire homes and farms. My duties included assisting in completing loan applications, preparing loan documents, and loan closings. I later moved into the Farm Service Agency as a Program Technician. My duties there were assisting individuals with purchasing farm ground, completing loan applications, closing loans, and helping individuals complete the many requirements of participation in the USDA farm programs. I believe my many years of experience in both the farm and housing departments enables me to better serve you as a potential buyer or seller in the beautiful Southern Illinois area. I am a wife to my husband, John, a mother to Michaela and Benjamin and to my step-children, Amy and Justin. Together, John and I have seven young grandkids of whom we couldn't be more proud! I grew up on a farm, and my family is still actively engaged in the farming industry. I still very much have the mentality and work ethic that was instilled in me as a young girl. I take great pride in everything I do, including working on my lawn and landscaping. I love being outdoors, and I am always finding a new project to keep me busy! I am a very organized, detail-oriented, and motivated person. When John and I aren't entertaining our family, church family and friends in our home I like to spend my free time in the yard, curled up with a good book, or taking trips all over the United States!
