About Holly Mcdonald

I was born and raised in Birmingham, AL and attended the University of AL at Birmingham as a Marketing Major. Sorority life as an Alpha Omicron Pi and a Blazer Cheerleader were just a few of the many college activities I was involved in. I worked in the communication industry during and after college. A transfer in 1998 landed me in North Alabama where I first met my husband just the second month I moved to Huntsville. We married in 2001 and I gained a daughter who's name is Courtney and a son who's name is Shelby. We built our dream home in Madison in 2003 and grew our family by 2 beautiful daughters; Sydney and Riley. Courtney is now married and a wonderful mother to our sweet grand daughter, Kyle Rae. Her and her family also live in Madison just a few minutes away. My stepson Shelby owns a successful salon in Birmingham. My husband Dell worked for his father running a heavy equipment business, McDonald Brothers Construction, for 30 years. My father in law retired in 2015 and Dell moved on to open his own heavy construction company; Dell McDonald Construction. My career in real estate became a part of my life in 2004 when my oldest daughter was one. I must say it is the most rewarding career I could ever ask for and I truly feel blessed that God placed me in North Alabama doing something that suits me to a "T". It's something I find rewarding, exciting, demanding, important, challenging and competitive. It is what keeps me driven and loving what I do to meet the needs of my clients. I want my clients to be happy and feel they are in great hands. Helping clients sell their homes and working with buyers find what they will be calling their home is something I take great pleasure and pride in doing. I've been blessed with a growing client base that refers me to their friends and family and I have been honored to accept many awards year after year acknowledging my top sales performance and being recognized on a local, state and regional level. I have my broker associate license, Accredited Buyers Representative, Certified Residential Specialist and Military Relocation Professional accreditations. Keeping a full time licensed assistant on my team allows more focused driven service for my clients and allows for my transactions to move in a positive direction on a daily basis. My focus is keeping my clients happy from start to finish and creating a relationship that will last a lifetime. In 2019 I completed my 15th year in the business. I feel absolutely blessed ?
