About Greg Whelan

I have always been attracted to real estate, wowed by the aesthetic beauty of architecture while also in touch with the idea that homes are where family traditions and a rich web of memories exist. To that end, I began my real estate career 16 years ago after graduating from college. I first found Redfin in the dark corners of the blogosphere, and anxiously awaited their arrival in Chicago to join this happy band of real estate pioneers. Redfin mirrors the way in which I think the real estate business will evolve. I have always wanted to be a part of something that is making a difference, now I feel like I am.
