About Frances Lucy
Frances, many thanks for all you did for us during this lengthy and somewhat trying process of purchasing our new home. Of all the characters involved you certainly proved to be one of the few true professionals, who not only displayed competency but also a genuine interest in your client. For that you will always have our respect and thanks, as well as our confident recommendation to others looking to buy or sell in this crazy city. - Cheers, Pam and Patrick (07/13/05) Frances Lucy's special knack for customer service stems greatly from extensive business experience and a well-rounded background. Graduating with Cum Laude honors and a B.A. degree from New York University in Near Eastern Languages and Literature, Frances spent a decade working in the world of high finance, focusing on the futures markets at PaineWebber Incorporated and then as a consultant for Chase Manhattan. Her flair for legal administration, risk management and negotiation translated quite well as she turned her attentions to real estate, enabling her to provide sound guidance to buyers and sellers on a wide range of matters. Born and raised in New York City, and having been in the residential real estate business for 19 years, Frances works closely with both sellers and buyers in all areas of New York City to match prospect with property until both parties are totally satisfied. "To me service doesn't simply stop at the sale," Frances admits. "I am happy to provide information of all kinds, or to make connections between people, for as long as they need my help." Throughout her life in addition to her academic studies, Frances has studied the violin, ballet and oil painting. She won a National Defense Fellowship to study Arabic in Tunisia, N. Africa, a Persian studies scholarship from N.Y.U. and a Women's Alumni Association Award for Academic Excellence. She is an avid cyclist, runner and swimmer in her spare time. She also enjoys growing fresh herbs and spices which enhance her cooking. A Halstead Gold Circle member, she is licensed to broker real estate in New York and New Jersey and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, the Liberty Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
