I have always loved real estate from the bare salty earth and rolling grasses, I call pastures, to the unique design, construction and decor of each home. I Love my Job!! I was raised in California in the lovely Sierra Nevada Mountains in a large family. Married into the Military and moved to many places. I came to the Lowcountry after 4.5 years in Japan. In just a few years my husband (Michael) and I decided to settle with our 4 children in the lovely town of Bluffton, we loved the beautiful Spanish Moss draped Oaks and the smell of the saltwater in the breeze. Our family grew in many unexpected ways, and we are thankful for a wonderful patchwork family, it is like a beautiful quilt, you just don't realize how beautiful it will be until you put all the hard work in. We both worked, he as a teacher and I in accounting and sales, but I was obsessed with housing design, sales and land. I became a Realtor in 2001 and did I say "I LOVE MY JOB" and have loved my job ever since. My prior years of experience in accounting, business and sales has been invaluable in understanding how numbers work, budget and negotiations, which in turn has helped me to help my clients. Believing in education, I am a lifelong learner and attend classes & seminars regularly to hone and sharpen my skills. I became one of less than 2000 nationally known, Certified Negotiations Experts. I have been an advocate for my community and have served in many Capacities as well as Volunteer positions. I believe in happy clients, therefore am willing to go the extra mile to ensure my clients are very happy with the home or property they have chosen. I do take special interest in equestrian properties as I am an equestrian oriented person. I have especially loved working with the first-time home buyer as it brings great joy to help people through this process and see the happiness of owning a first home. I pride myself in learning what you are looking for, dreaming of, and needing so that I may better assist you in finding the perfect place (be patient I ask a lot of questions to do this).
