About Ellen Grant

Over the last thirty years, Ellen has lived and worked across the city, from Capitol Hill to Bethesda and the neighborhoods between, including Logan Circle, Foggy Bottom, DuPont Circle, Woodley Park, Cathedral Heights, Friendship Heights, and Chevy Chase. Shes now focused on meeting the real estate needs of clients in the District, Maryland, and Virginia. Ellen is a member of District Property Group at Compass.The award-winning team isactive in buying and selling, but also has diverse real estate knowledge in development, property management, and leasing. In addition to real estate, Ellen is construction and renovation savvy, having managed multiple projects - - obtained building permits, hiredsubcontractors, and purchased materials. Shes also been known to roll up her sleeves to install light fixtures, toilets, landscaping, and even patch drywall on occasion. Ellens a pro at top-notch customer service, having spent ten years at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts working with major donors. She put her strategic thinking, attention to detail, and people skills together to build a board of Americas top corporate CEOs and a successful fundraising campaign. In addition to being a theater fan, shes an avid runner and swimmer, having competed in marathons and swims across the Chesapeake Bay.
