Eliot J. Eliot has always had a passion for this business, which he has extended further to his role as a residential broker, and as a member of various coop and condo boards whose insights will assure a successful transaction. As a member of the Alex Salem Team at Douglas Elliman, Eliot lends his intimate knowledge of the market and the purchase/sale process, along with great finesse in negotiations. He can advise his clients with confidence, backed by seasoned insight, as far as when to buy, sell or rent, and how to navigate a seamless real estate undertaking while optimizing value. Alex does very thorough work for his clients, and offers comprehensive service that includes fastidious research for buyers, to expert staging and marketing for sellers. Born and raised in New York City, Eliot received a B.S. degree from City College of New York and a J.D. from New York University School of Law. He has lived in Connecticut and on Manhattans Upper West Side for many years. Eliot currently resides on Central Park West. His personal experiences as a longtime New Yorker coupled with his extensive collaborative legal work allows him to hone in on the best deals, and negotiate the right terms on his clients behalf. By nature, Eliot is an enthusiastic and gregarious person who can easily establish positive relationships with his clients and colleagues alike. His goal is to make you feel well cared for, catered to and secure with his services throughout the real estate journey. Outside of business, Eliot is an active member of the Board of the Southeast Lighthouse Foundation on Block Island, Rhode Island where he owns a house. He has been involved on boards of nonprofit organizations related to the arts and history, has given architectural tours of New York, and is an avid practitioner of yoga, meditation and bicycling.
