After a rewarding career in the Federal Government, I wanted to spend my retirement facing a new kind of challenge. As a lifelong resident of the Brazos Valley, I know the area well so I decided to get my Real Estate license to help newcomers or permanent residents in the community. Bryan-College Station is full of investment opportunities, but it's also a great place to raise a family. Growing up in Bryan, I remember how the Christmas lights used to stretch across Main Street, back and forth between the buildings. My husband and I got married in 1980 when Downtown Bryan looked totally different. In our early years, eating out was a special treat for us, I miss eating at The Texan and watching the servers mix the irreplaceable caesar salad, but new and exciting restaurants are opening every year. Paolo's Italian Kitchen and Sodolaks are current favorites in our family. Recently, our three grandkids have given us a fresh appreciation for the family-friendly outings in the area, but we also enjoy camping in the beautiful State Parks of Central Texas. As a member of state and national associations for realtors, I've earned the RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert) certification as well as GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative) designations. Serving as the Chair of the Education Committee, an Ambassador for Keller Williams (to the BCS Association of Realtors), and a member of other local committees, I bring the same dedication to Real Estate as I devoted to my past career as a Safety and Environmental Compliance Administrator. I have always believed that hard work is a service to the Lord, and it's rewarding to help people navigate the big decisions involved in buying and selling property.
