Eighth generation Georgian, Daniel Bland, joined EXP Realty after an award winning sales career in multiple industries. Daniel was born in Athens, raised in Griffin, and attended the University of Georgia before volunteering to join the U.S. Army just two months after September 11, 2001. Daniel served eight months in Iraq, and now resides in North Atlanta with his gorgeous Irish Setter, Georgia. After completing his military service, Daniel received a copy of Robert KiyosakisRich Dad, Poor Dadin the mail from one of his best friends, a book Daniel says is the second most influential hes ever read with only the Holy Bible ranking higher. Daniel followed Rich Dads advice for aspiring entrepreneurs and real estate professionals to begin their careers in the copier industry to best learn how to sell and negotiate proficiently. He ended up earning a Ph.D. in copier sales over an eight-year award winning career with Lanier Worldwide and their acquirer, Ricoh Business Solutions. Daniel attributes his success to learning to ask good questions and to actively listen so he can best help his business partners solve problems and accomplish their objectives. The wisdom gained from Daniels two favorite books led him to accomplish his goal of being a serial entrepreneur and real estate investor. In addition to owning a group fitness gym, Daniel also focuses on Short-Term Rental acquisitions and management as an AirBnB Super Host himself. He remembered Rich Dad stressing the importance of acquiring income generating assets and discovered he could generate 2-3x the monthly mortgage on his own home while he and Georgia live there full-time. Selling real estate has proven second nature to Daniel, but his first nature is to help his clients expand their real estate portfolio by negotiating incredible deals on strategic investment opportunities with high income producing potential and higher than average appreciation/ROI. He recalls a favorite saying from one of his own personal real estate rich dads, Buddy Dillard, who often said, In real estate, you make your money when you buy, not when you sell. Daniel is driven by helping people improve their fitness, physically at the gym and financially through real estate, and has found a unique way of combining these two passions for those he is blessed to be able to serve.
