Originally from Iowa, Corlie lived in New Orleans before moving to Manhattan. She is a graduate of the Parsons School of Design and worked with major designers in the hospitality and residential arenas on projects from major event spaces to quainter, more personal projects. It was the allure of personal sanctuaries that took root and helped position Corlie in the world of real estate.
