About Chris Chaney

My name is Chris Chaney and I have been a Realtor for over 24 years, and I've practiced the entire time concentrating in south Orange County. I've specialized in Corporate Relocation, and I have listed and sold properties as far north as Ventura, east to San Bernardino/Riverside, and south to Oceanside/Vista. I have acquired designations as a graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and of the EPro Internet Proficiency School (EPro) to better assist you. My background includes graduating from Oregon State University in 1971 as a commissioned Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps where I spent about a decade, "graduating" as a Captain of Marines. I spent eight years with Nationwide Fund Raisers and became a 4-county wide supervisor with them before becoming a Realtor which brings me to the present. I live in Orange County, and like to practice the concept of "loving where I work and living where I love." I am what I consider to be a 24-hour Realtor. I try to make myself available to both clients and interested prospects as readily as possible. Specializing in Corporate Relocation for much of my career, getting calls at all hours from as far away as Hong Kong, or from a client sitting in the stands at Le Mans with the cars zooming by in the background or one on the tarmac at an airport in Santiago, Chile, makes this a necessity. I live by the referral system, with both buyers and sellers. After over 22 years, that makes up about 60% of my business. I'd like to think that "what goes around, comes around", and that my clients think enough of my services to refer me. That is the key to a successful sales person in any line of work. I will follow through for you, bring you a completed contract, and give you all the satisfaction, professionalism, attention to duty, integrity and knowledge that I can throughout our relationship.
