About Cheryl Kurss
After graduating from Smith College, Cheryl attended the Boston University Law School and earned her JD. She then practiced law for many years before becoming a Realtor. Cheryls legal training makes her an outstanding advocate for her clients. She is well versed in contracts, titles, title insurance, and the transfer of property rights. She is detail oriented, diligent and thorough in her research, and a great problem solver. You can always count on her tenacious negotiating skills, yet she is a seasoned mediator as well. Born and raised in NY, Cheryl moved to the DC area 30+ years ago and has raised three children and many rescue dogs in the intervening years. She has a great passion for life, for people, for helping others. While savvy at marketing, she knows intimately the neighborhoods, the schools, the businesses, and the qualities of life that make a real estate transaction so personal. Cheryl was consistently the top agent in her former office and has won numerous top producer awards. She was named Washingtonian Magazine as a Top Residential Real Estate Agent in the DC Metro area. Her partner, Moose, is a standard poodle from a rescue organization, a former client who worked with Cheryl to find a home and now works on Cheryls team.
