Carol Opton has lived on the Upper West Side for more than 40 years. A Barnard College graduate, she enjoyed a successful career in the world of politics and government. Working with elected officials from Senator Robert Kennedy to Governors Carey and Cuomo, Carol was a founder and 20-year President of a renowned political and public relations consulting firm in Manhattan.After her son began his studies at Cornell University, Carol retired from her business and devoted two years to the Ethical Culture Fieldston School, where she served as an Admissions Officer and advisor to the Head of School.
